About Enfield Family Day Care

A place to thrive

Hi there, my name is Charis. I am 27 and live with my partner, Toby, 25 and our daughter Darcy who is 18 months.

For a few years we have dreamt of creating a Family Day Care program here in beautiful Enfield. Our vision is to create a program which embraces community spirit and combines nature and nurture to create a play and learning environment rich in opportunities, endless exploration, and encourages every child’s natural enthusiasm for discovery.

Our family moved to Enfield in August 2020 after falling in love with the area a few years ago. We decided to make the move once we had Darcy as we wanted to offer her a home where she could freely explore and learn how to care for others such as her girlies (her chickens) and miniatures horse Chewy & Drifter.

Our house is often filled with music of all genres and we love to be outdoors whether its on the veranda listening to the rain in a warm blanket, playing on our land, or out and about exploring what this beautiful country has to offer.

We also love to set ourselves goals to learn new things and so our goal for next year is to build and nurture our own vegetable garden.
