Our philosophy starts with a vision to create a program which feels like a home away from home, embraces community spirit and combines nature and nurture to create a play and learning environment rich in opportunities, endless exploration, and encourages every child’s natural enthusiasm for discovery.

At Enfield FDC, we believe that every child is a strong, capable, and independent young person who can achieve anything they put their mind to.

With the elements of nature and nurture combined we have created an environment which supports the opportunity to develop not just academically but holistically through nature, exploring, and further understanding the world around them. These natural experiences mixed with academic learning opportunities embedded throughout will support a child to thrive naturally through play and discovery as well as developing that ever so important emotional wellbeing and sense of belonging.

As an educator there truly is no better feeling than to watch a child’s excitement for life grow, to watch their enthusiasm for exploration and discovery flourish and, in turn, watch them thrive and mature into strong, independent, and capable young people.
